Management is a very broad topic, and this section covers a wide range of subjects, but at the bottom of all good management is a simple concept, 'wouldn't be a good idea if we thought about what we are going to do before we start, not once we are committed to a plan'. All the management disciplines; six sigma, quality management, continuous improvement, project management and value management all depend on it. In reality, good management is about thinking ahead and all the fads and models are just ways to help you do this. On the left you will find links to some ideas and thoughts about improving performance through management tools. Mostly they concern thinking ahead, then making sure that the right people are making decision with the right information.
